[Personnel News] Yeo Jeong-min, an Expert in Electronics, and AI, Joins Pine IP Firm

Pine IP Firm welcomes new partner Yeo Jeong-min, a patent attorney with profound expertise and practical experience in the fields of electrical/electronic engineering, control systems, aviation, and artificial intelligence, as of August 2025.

Patent Attorney Yeo Jeong-min built her technical foundation by graduating from Myungduk Foreign Language High School, earning a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Yonsei University (2011), and a Master's degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Seoul National University's Graduate School (2013). During her master's program, she accumulated in-depth knowledge in control and aerospace engineering, particularly through her research on 'Fault-Tolerant Control for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Using L1 Adaptive Control Techniques.'

Before becoming a patent attorney, Ms. Yeo gained R&D experience in the industrial field while working at LIG Nex1, a leading defense company in Korea. This hands-on experience has become a powerful asset in penetrating the core of technology and understanding clients' inventions.

After passing the 53rd patent attorney examination in 2016, Ms. Yeo built an extensive practical career working for over eight years at top-tier domestic patent law firms, including Kasan Patent Firm and Lee & Mok Patent Firm. Notably, during her tenure at Lee & Mok from 2017 to 2025, she successfully represented Korea's leading technology companies, such as Samsung Electronics and the Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT). She provided a comprehensive range of legal services for intellectual property, including ▲drafting domestic and international patent applications and responding to office actions, ▲reviewing infringement and validity, and ▲providing third-party observations.

Her practical experience and deep technical understanding, cultivated while representing premier Korean companies like Samsung Electronics, are expected to be a significant force in delivering the highest quality intellectual property services to our clients.
